About
An Extension of Your AI Infrastructure Team
Our story
Why We Started Canopy
Our founder, James Marks, spent 7 years at Amazon, the last 2 of which at AWS. He kept seeing buyers sign cloud deals without knowing whether the price was fair, or whether the infrastructure was right for what they needed to run.
GPU compute has made that problem bigger. Every provider prices the same chip differently, quotes expire before finance signs them off, and new providers appear every month. Teams building AI products end up making multi-year, multi-million decisions with very little to compare
against.
We started Canopy in 2024 to change that, so AI teams can focus on their models and their product while we source the GPU compute, test it and negotiate the deal.
How it works
Built Around Your Workload
Every deal starts with what you need to run, not what a provider wants to sell. Then we test it, cost it and negotiate it.

What we stand for
Our Results
Below market
Geodesic Research secured 96 GPUs on a 24-month agreement at around 40% below market, with a 30-day acceptance period written into the contract.
Below market
Cambridge Inference secured GPU capacity with Civo at around 35% below market, in under 3 weeks.
Sustainability impact
Giving Back
The AI buildout takes a lot of power, land and money. We think the people arranging these deals should carry some of the responsibility for that.
